If you have NEVER flipped a house, this would be or you. They deal with a lot of surface material. They give you options on the different ways of accomplishing a task, but anyone with half a brain could figure it ou. I would recommend this book to someone “thinking” about flipping, but not anyone who has done it. The book lacks in REAL content. It’s too easy of a read, nothing complicated, nothing new, all just common sense.

I t isn’t often I’m overly critical about the books I read, especially books on real estate. I found this particular book very boring for the 1st half of the book. It became more interesting half way through, however I think the author appealed to readers who know little about how to fix up and flip houses. The software that could be ordered separately was helpful and has many good features but in my opinion very basic. Would I recommend this book to experienced real estate investors….no

Two books that I think really are helpful if you’re learning about real estate investing are this book, FLIP: How to Find, Fix, and Sell Houses for Profit and Dean Graziosi’s Be A Real Estate Millionaire: Secret Strategies for Lifetime Wealth Today

This book is well written and informative.

In the quiet costs, they neglect to talk about capital gains tax impact on profit – I think this is very important to add into the equation.

I found this book to be of great value. Although experience is the only perfect teacher, this book gives you the knowledge to make a good plan before you start flipping, and a great guide for following up that plan. The book can also help you buy a home if you plan on fixing it up. By giving you the tools to locate and value improvements that need to be made, you can locate great deals when buying any home.
